The Federation had in the past organized the following five Conventions and Seminars at all India level :-

First All India Motor Parts Dealers Convention on 10th and 11th April, 1971 in New Delhi.

Second All India Motor Parts Dealers Convention on 27th and 28th September, 1972 in Bombay.
3.
Seminar on Development of Automobile Industry and Export on 19th October, 1973 in Calcutta.
4.
Third All India Motor Parts Dealers Convention on 27th and 28th September, 1979 in New Delhi.
5.
Fourth All India Motor Parts Dealers Convention (21-22 September ’84), New Delhi.
6.
Fifth All India Auto Trade Convention 1992 (25-26 September’92) New Delhi.
7.
Auto Ancillary 1992, (25-26 Sept. 92).
8.
Workshop on Standards of Weights & Measures (Packaged Commodities), 1977 Rules (on 16th January, 2000).
A joint Central Coordinating Committee called Central Coordinating Committee on Transport Trade and Industry (CCCTI) was formed with common aims and objects relating to the Automobile Industry, Ancillary Industry, Spare Parts Trade and Road Transport Industry. This Committee consisted of the representatives of the following Organisations :-
1. Automotive Components Mfrs. Association of India, New Delhi.
2. Association of Indian Automobile Manufactures, Mumbai.
3. Federation of All India Automobile Spare Parts Dealers’ Association (FAIASPDA), New Delhi.
4. All India Motor Transport Congress, New Delhi.
The matters affecting all wings of the Road Transport are discussed freely and frankly and solutions found out to the satisfaction of all concerned.
Since its inception in 1962, the Federation of All India Automobile Spare Parts Dealers Associations has been playing a vital role for the development not only for Automobile Spare Parts Trade but also indirectly in the interest of the Automobile Industry, Ancillary and Road Transport Industry. The brief history of the Federation, as given above, has reflected the activities of the Federation right since 1962.
